What's on the table?

Every so often, I get something in my head and I obsess about it. Right now, I've got dining table centerpieces in my head.

I am constantly changing my dining room table centerpiece. I think I keep doing this because I just can't seem to find the right look. So then I obsess & start searching dining rooms on the internet. Yep, your dining room too...chances are I've been there. LOL

Here are some images I've found while stalking searching.

Candles. Flowers. Vases. Big bowls. Seriously, someone needs to have a "What's on your dining room table?" blog party, so that I can be inspired! :D

So tell me because I'm very curious, what's on your dining room table?

  1. I think that idea for a party is a good one Gina! I always have a problem with that too, I change it so often. Beautiful inspiration. I loved the plants on the cake stands one!

  2. Oh gosh, I do the same thing! I go on a spree of a certain something. I've been working on my ugly, tiny, outdated apartment kitchen...just buying little knick knacks and things to brighten it up since we can't change anything structure wise.

I think you can NEVER go wrong with a chandelier in a dining room! That would be my starting point for sure! I think someone does a Tablescaping linky party but I'm not sure who.

  11. I obsess over the table too, seems like it should be simple. It has to be something that is easy to take off as I entertain a lot and don't want to take off 10 things and figure out where to sit them while we eat. I have a round tray that I did mosaic on and a vase with fake flowers, not to exciting.

Anyways, I have a big white fruit bowl, a wire frame pear and a rose candle holder on my dining room table...Not sure what direction I want to go yet so I have all three for inspiration...But nothing yet :-S
