Spring Cloches

I have been getting my house ready for Spring, ever so slowly. It didn't feel much like Spring here until this past week. The temps warmed up into the 40s (hurray!) & a few days of sunshine (hurray again!), mixed with a few of rain, melted quite a bit of that nasty white stuff snow. It's not completely gone, but I do see more grass than snow, so at least I know we're getting closer.

Edited to add: I typed this post up last night. This morning, it's currently snowing :(

I spent some time playing with my cloches over the weekend, trying to decide what to display under them.

(I had a hard time photographing these, so I apologize for the glare from the glass.)

I ordered this cute little bird in a teacup from The Baker's Daughter on Etsy. Her name is Jubilant Juliet & I love her in all her sparkly prettiness.

This tall cloche, from Wisteria, gave me some trouble. The shape of it made it difficult to display anything. I bought this foil wrapped bunny at Joann's & he fit perfectly. I love how it reminds me of the chocolate bunnies that I would find in my Easter basket as a kid. They don't make chocolate bunnies look like this anymore, I wonder why?

I also bought this little Easter pail at Joann's. I filled it with some robin's eggs & under the cloche it went.

Since I'm crazy late to link this to Marty's Cloche Party, I guess I will link it to her Tabletop Tuesday party instead, which I hope is ok.

Thank you for visiting me today & I hope you have a fabulous week!
