Falling

Just like so many of you, I am falling for Fall...
and loving every minute of it.

Never you mind that it's supposed to be
88 degrees & humid
on Tuesday & Wednesday this week,
I'm not listening to a word of it.
I've got my hands over my ears.
La la la la
Did you say something?

♥♥♥

Today I am sharing Fall on my dining room hutch.

It's great when I get to use stuff I already have on hand.

Now for a little close-up collage.
I enjoy that PicMonkey.

I bought those gold candleholders at Michael's about 10 years ago.
So many times I'd thought of getting rid of them.
So many times they've come in handy!  lol
Just goes to show you, some things you just need
to hold on to.    Good thing I kept these.

I love this quote that I found by George Eliot,
it's perfect for how I feel about fall,
and perfect for my chalkboard.

Have you begun decorating for Fall?

Wishing you a wonderful week,  my friends.

  5. Your decorating is awesome and quite inspiring.....but I flat out refuse to go there till it cools off.

I admire your enthusiasm - usually I am one of the first, but not this year, just cannot bring myself to do it. Sad.

Wish it would cool down, it is stupid hot outside today. Weekend was much better. Hugs.

  6. I love your hutch, Gina! You always have the prettiest vignettes. I just can't even get in the mood to decorate at all. Maybe if our temperatures ever go below the 90's, I'll get some inspiration. xo

  14. I love your pretty fall touches. Were in the middle of a heat wave here in Minnesota too, sort of hard to get the spirit of things if you know what I mean. Hopefully I won't have to wait long.

  18. I love the idea of going around the world searching for Fall - wow!! Love your new decor and you wonderful photos. Reading the opening of your post, I can just imagine you standing there with you fingers in your ears refusing to listen to anyone who dares tell you that Fall has not fallen, yet. It made me laugh - always love your posts!

  25. Yep! Even though we're still in the 90s, I'm "falling" up the house. I love this season more than the other three put together.

I love what you've done, and I'm glad you saved those candlesticks because they are perfect.

  26. Hi Gina! Oh, this is just so beautiful! You've done a great job and don't you just love fall? Well, I do but it's almost 90' outside! :)

  27. Summer finally arrived last week, so I'm reluctant to decorate for fall....although I did decorate a fall transitional breakfast room table yesterday!

Your mosiacs look great. I miss the mosaic feature on Photobucket! *sadface*

  30. I like the white with the fall colors. And I was just looking at my little birdcage today and hating to put it away...I may have to put pumpkins in it!

  31. Beautiful display. I have NOT begun decorating. I ABSOLUTELY love all things FALL!! The problem is I do not always embrace it right away because I know what season follows it. So I pretty much cling to summer until I cannot deny that it is truly Fall anymore:)

  32. Seeing your little cabinet makes me want to paint one of my little cabinets and do a fall display.

Lots of inspiration . . . now I need motivation.

  33. Very pretty, Gina. All I did was change throw pillows. My fall decorations are still in the garage. It is just too hot here, still in the 90's.....Christine
